How to Make a Wooden Axe in Minecraft

When it comes to crafting iconic tools in Minecraft, nothing says awesomeness quite like a wooden axe! Crafting a wooden axe can initially seem intimidating, but with a few easy steps and some patience, you’ll soon be chopping down trees in no time. 

Step 1–

Let’s talk about the materials you’ll need. To make a wooden axe, you’ll need three wooden planks and two sticks. You can obtain wooden planks by using an axe or your fists to break down trees. You’ll need to break down enough logs to get three wooden planks, which you can do by placing the logs on the crafting table.

Step 3 – 

Once you have the necessary materials, you’re ready to start crafting! Open up your crafting table by right-clicking on it, and you’ll see a 3×3 grid appear. In the top row of the grid, place the three wooden planks in a “V” shape, leaving the middle slot empty.

Step 4 –

Next, place a stick in the middle slot of the middle row and another stick in the bottom row, centered beneath the middle slot. You should now see a wooden axe appear in the result box on the right-hand side of the crafting table.

And that’s it! You’ve successfully crafted a wooden axe. Now it’s time to go chop down some trees and gather some wood for crafting. To use your axe, equip it in your hotbar and right-click on a tree trunk or log. The block will break, and you’ll receive some wood, which you can use for crafting or building.

One thing to note is that different types of axes have different durability and speed. Wooden axes have the lowest durability and are the slowest at chopping down trees, while diamond axes have the highest durability and are the fastest at chopping down trees. So, consider what type of axe you want to make based on how often you’ll be using it.
